I’ve pointed out before that Stan and I love the look and feel of the Art Deco period. We collect many things from the period and it influences many things about our house and the furnishings. One day I got it into my head that I wanted to create an Art Deco inspired piece for our family room. I knew I wanted it to be geometric, to be somewhat reflective, and I knew I also wanted to use acrylic skins for parts of it. After working on it for over a year off and on it is finally done. I’m calling this painting “Building Veiled Geometry.”

Wow, Kyle!! Love this! The layers and depth and colors and aliveness really come through. Looks like mission accomplished!
