This is a set of monoprints I’ve been working on since late summer and early fall. All of these monoprints started out in acrylic, printmaking ink, or watercolor in the background and then I embellished them, in the foreground, with ink, pencil, pastels, chalk, or watercolors. With this set I mainly focused on oil pastels and metallic oil pastels in the foreground. I concentrated on shape and color of the foreground subjects more than anything else.
