Earlier this month Farmington High School held their annual Student Spring Art Show for the year. Students were at the Farmington Recreation Center with their artwork for two afternoons. Some were working on pieces while everyone was taking everything in and others were there to answer questions. Every time we go to the show we are so inspired by the talent and creativity of the students. The event is one not to miss each year. Enjoy the photos!
These two pieces are favorites right now. They look even better in person! If you came to the local show, you already had a chance to see them then, but for everyone else this is your first look at them. Lots of layers, impressions, stamping, and rich autumn colors. Each of these took some time as I made some of the papers that would become part of the pieces for the collage. Continue reading “Seven More #MixedMedia #Collage #Art Pieces”
All four of these mixed media collages was so much fun. I used a ton of crystalline papers I created about a month earlier in these. The last image is a crystalline paper that I used for some of the Hummingbird and Jay pieces. Continue reading “Four #MixedMedia #Collages From February”
