Time for a Bram & Quin update!
They are both doing very well. They both really miss Stan and wish he was here all the time. But, I think they have adapted to the rhythm of his back and forth each month. Quin is still very upset by anyone in the house except for us. I think it is now just a permanent fixture of his personality here, although I think there may be a chance it may be different once Stan is here all the time.
They’ve really been enjoying all the sun we’ve had toward the end of summer. Bram has also become quite adventurous in exploring living things in the yard. Bees entrance both of them, but butterflies really catch Bram’s attention! I’m trying to teach them to be gentle with them like I did with Katie, when she was alive.
Interestingly enough, if we are outside and the mail lady arrives they are fine with her walking by, but they react once she speaks. She really wants to interact with them, but they aren’t quite ready yet.
I’ve only had Bram ask once for his clothes because he was cold, but it is almost time for their jackets and hoodies. It’s really only cold late at night and in the very early morning, so I probably have another couple of weeks before they will start to need them.
