#Summer 2022 #FarmingtonNH #Garden Update Part Two

The side of our back yard and garage. Many, many ferns & pink and purple and red impatiens abound!

All of these photos were taken in early summer until now.

I jinxed us with the last garden post! We found a pest! We thought it was a woodchuck. No sighting. We’ve had them before. This one dined on some of the lower tomatoes and ate almost all the large leaves on our potatoes. We set our have a heart trap overnight and did in fact catch a woodchuck!

We are getting to the point where our garden cisterns are empty. Not enough rain. Most of the plants are showing some signs of water or heat stress. It isn’t too bad right now, but we really need some serious drenching rains one after another.

Enjoy the photos!
