Our 2025 #Winter Wonderland #Holiday House Photo Recap

I hope everyone’s Holiday Season has been as good as it can, given the state of the world right now. Ours was a wonderful holiday week together, as Stan was here longer than most visits. We celebrated my B-day early as he wouldn’t be here in PA for it and had wonderful food for Solstice & Christmas.

I’ll start talking about the updated wreathes , above, which are on the back and side door. These wreathes used to be in my studio in the NH house. I’ve added more elements to them, especially the new turquoise colored elements to coordinate with the new color scheme.

No update would be complete without some shots of Bram & Quin! It is very cold and windy here this year, much like NH. I’m amazed at how close our weather is this time of year! As you can see both B& Q can ham it up when they want to.

When I originally posted the photos of B&Q for this post, I neglected to post one of my favorites! It was taken by Stacey our dog groomer. It has them in a snow covered setting with gifts. Obviously some AI was used there. Stacey placed the photo into key chains and everyone coming for her services left with them. She gave us two, one for each of us. It was very thoughtful and sweet! I think I’m going to turn one into an ornament and one into a fridge magnet.

The kitchen only has a few things added to it for the holidays. I need to space to be easy to clean and as open as it can be. So, just the small tree and two garlands and some accessories around the room.

The Reading Room. It holds what used to be our largest tree, ten feet in fact. As you can see I’ve left off the bottom third of the tree, so the tree is now about seven feet, which works for our new space.

The Family Room, where we spend a great deal of time. I’m sure you may have noticed that I move the furniture around the house, often. Take a look at last years photos and see if you can spot all the differences! One of my favorite rooms in the house. I think because it connects with the TV Room and Dining Room, and I like being able to see the other rooms from one of the three. The first image in this set is an item Stan received from a dear friend, Emily. It is a Polish glass vase. The photo is of the base with the reflected holiday lights coming through it.

The TV Room decked out.

The Dining Room ready for the holidays.

Stan loves the four season Porch. It has so much light, most of our plants are there, and the room feels relaxing, where some of our other rooms can feel overwhelming for many people. Make sure to look at the last photo in the slideshow for this room. It shows what the porch looks like from the outside at night, when it is lit.

My Office is upstairs, and simply has the one small tree as decoration, but I really love it.

Some photos of the rooms downstairs, so you can see the holiday lights better.

We’ve had a good amount of snow this year, though most of it is gone now with the recent thaw and rain.

I hope everyone has a better year in 2026! Take it easy on yourself and those you love!
