For those of you used to seeing Matisse paintings with bold colors and heavy detail, you might want to take a look at the pieces collected from a five year period where his work was dominated by darker colors and geometric design. Not much of a fan of Matisse, but frankly this series in here are something to reconsider. I like this experimental process there is something ghosty about them!
It is interesting Marcos. So many people don't realize how many artists work evolved over time, which is why i thought this link/exhibition was important. Art is a process, an ongoing dialogue and sometimes it yields unexpected results.
Why you could be looking at Picasso…it is amazing.
I'm partial to Monet and have even visited Giverny…lovely.
my paintings have a lot of his influence.
