#ArtDeco Inspired #Geometric #Acrylic #Painting

I’ve pointed out before that Stan and I love the look and feel of the Art Deco period. We collect many things from the period and it influences many things about our house and the furnishings. Two Wild #Acrylic #Nature #Paintings

It is feeling like spring here in NH, though we are actually in the middle of winter. Temps are creeping up during the day to fifty or sixty degrees in most places. A false spring. One is a little more clear as I see it being later in the day and the hazy version I imagine in early morning with lifting fog. I’m going to call these False Spring Morning & False Spring Afternoon.

Padrick Bentley-Beautiful, Jarring Glitch Art

The other day I was surfing online and I came across the artist Padrick Bentley. I was looking through his more traditional contemporary paintings, if you can call them traditional at all, and loved his bold use of color and vivid movement and texture in his pieces. Then I came across his”glitch art” and was even more impressed. Take a look!

8 Things You Didn’t Know About The Artist Vincent Van Gogh

Viewed thus, men don’t play a very noble role — well, but that is in fact the case. It doesn’t apply in general, though, because … does the candle burn for the sake of the moth? If one knew that — well then — it might well be worthwhile committing suicide that way. Vincent van Gogh
