French #Printmaking #Archive & #Exhibit @ #VanGogh #Museum

Van Gogh is one of my favorite artists. His style and colors inform some of my own work and inspire me constantly. The Van Gogh Museum has a wonderful online collection, but they showcase more than just the work of one of the world’s most beloved painters. Right now they have an exhibit covering  prints made in in Paris around the beginning of the 20th Century.  Some are etching, some woodcut, and others lithography. It is well worth the time going through this collection to see what would have been on the walls in Paris around 1900. It’s a magnificent archive!
